This policy sets out how Seven Dials Studio collects, stores and uses any information gathered and provided by visitors to this site. We are committed to ensuring your data is only ever used and stored in accordance with the methods set out in this policy.

 

What We Collect

 

Personal data is collected from you when you place an order, subscribe to our mailing list, request information, supply testimonials or comment on any blog post. We only use your data for the purposes in which you supply it to us (e.g. to provide services) and do not use this information for any other purpose across the site or company. By using our services you agree to the use of your personal data in line with this policy.

 

The data we collect and hold about you include your name, email address, phone numbers, any addresses you supply, payment card details, and any details pertaining to your order such as wedding details and guest lists. 

 

What we use this information for

 

We require this information primarily to provide the requested products or services. We may store and use some of this information for internal record keeping purposes, in line with legal and tax requirements. 

 

In addition, samples of any bespoke designs created for you will be kept on file for portfolio and marketing purposes. This includes their usage on this website, associated social media accounts, and their inclusion in promotional materials. No items including addresses of you or your guests will be used. If you do not wish for your samples to be used in this way please let us know at any point during or after the order completion.

 

If you provide feedback, we may use it to improve our services and/or publish it to promote our services and business.

 

Information provided through any interaction with us through third party social media platforms, such as Instagram or Pinterest will be subject to the platform’s own privacy policy in addition to our own.

 

How long we keep this information for

 

Information gathered in the ordering process will be deleted by the company within 12 months after order completion. This includes any addresses, guest lists and specific details pertaining to your order. All email correspondence is deleted 12 months after order completion. Invoices are retained for 7 years for tax purposes. These do not include payment details. 

 

If you have signed up to our mailing list your email address will be stored indefinitely, however all correspondence will contain details of how to unsubscribe, or you can contact us at any time to have your information removed.

 

All data is password protected and only accessible to staff who require access for the uses set out above. 

 

 Who has access to your data

 

We will never share, sell or lease your personal data except where detailed below.

 

Our online services are provided by Wix, who may store your data in line with their Privacy Policy.

 

All payments (through the website, payment link and at physical events) are processed through Square (SquareUp International Ltd), who may store your data in line with their Privacy Policy.

Your details may be supplied to third parties such as our select print providers. For example contact details where they form part of an invitation. We will never share anything more than what is strictly necessary to complete your purchase.

Controlling your information

 

If you believe any of the information we hold on you is incorrect please contact us and we will rectify the issue.

 

Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you may request details of the personal information we hold about you.

 

Cookies

 

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies help websites respond to you as an individual, and provides us with valuable statistical data which allows the continuous development and improvement of our website and services. Cookies in no way allow us access to your computer, or provide us with information other than that which you share. Cookies enable you to use services such as online baskets, and also streamline your experience by remembering basic preferences such as language. 

 

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, although these settings can be modified to decline them, however this may prevent you from accessing certain areas or features of our website.
